A pant made from exceptionally durable, heavyweight duck fabric woven from thick cotton yarns in a densely constructed plain weave. The fabric is finished with a “Grunge Wash” process, in which it is directly dyed with direct dyes in a small dyeing vat to reduce color saturation, without mercerization or bleaching. After dyeing, the fabric is air-dried in the sun. Although this process requires more time and effort, it minimizes damage to the fabric and creates a natural, washed-out texture. The fabric is characterized by fine, lightning-like marks in color and texture created by the Grunge Wash process.
