This leather jacket is based on a 1930s American-made jacket found in New York. It features a beautiful silhouette—with its forward-set sleeves and armholes—that evokes the era when people still rode horses.
- The fan-shaped zipper with Art Deco-style engraving and the Bakelite buttons are original.
- The horsehide used is vegetable-tanned leather with pit tanning. Pit tanning is a method in which the leather is soaked for an extended period in a vat containing plant-derived tannins. It is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process—the soaking period alone takes about a month—and is practiced by only a few companies in Japan.
- Because tea-core horsehide is used, the leather will gradually fade to a brown hue with wear, allowing you to enjoy its unique aging process.

In 2017, designer Taiga Takahashi started Taiga Takahashi in New York. The brand concept is "to excavate archeological objects of the future by reviving relics of the past". He had collected more than several thousand pieces of clothing from 70 to 100 years ago through antique dealers overseas since he was a teenager. Through these collections, he researched clothes that could exist in the present or the future from the perspective of archaeology. Designer Taiga Takahashi passed away in April 2022, and the brand name was changed to "T.T" from the 2023-24 season.
