A zip-up jacket made from PORTER CLASSIC’s original sashiko fabric. It features the characteristic PORTER CLASSIC silhouette, with a roomy body, distinctive shoulder shape, and well-balanced body length. Unlined, it can be worn as a lightweight outer layer or layered over thick innerwear, making it a versatile piece that works with a variety of styles. The fine dots are created using a delicate discharge-printing technique, with precision down to 1–2 mm, showcasing the high level of skill of Japanese artisans. The pattern makes a striking impression from a distance, while the intricate details of the small dots become apparent up close, giving the design a sense of depth. Despite its all-over pattern, the design remains appealing over time, offering different expressions depending on the viewing distance.
